THE PLAY: Vancouver Canucks +105

The Canucks are in a great spot to bounce back and get revenge against the Kraken on Thursday. Yes, Vancouver is dealing with injuries to key players like Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson, and Filip Hronek, but this is still a talented and motivated group that’s more than capable of overcoming adversity.

This is the perfect revenge spot for the Canucks after blowing a 3-1 lead to Seattle just a few days ago. Quick-turnaround rematches like this often favor the team looking to settle the score, and Vancouver will be locked in after that tough loss.

They’re also coming off a frustrating one-goal effort against Calgary on New Year’s Eve, adding even more urgency to this game. Desperation combined with talent creates a dangerous team, and I expect Vancouver to bring their best effort.

Meanwhile, the Kraken’s recent wins haven’t been as impressive as they might seem. They’ve been inconsistent, and I believe they’re overpriced and overrated heading into this matchup.
