The Orioles picked up right where they left off a season ago as far as run production is concerned, blowing out the Blue Jays 12-2 on their own field on Opening Day. Neither one of these pitchers has good metrics, and there’s no reason to believe Kevin Gausman can work through this lineup. Gausman has an extremely high barrel rate and Baltimore will jump all over him and put up another crooked number in Game 2. Take the Orioles.

New Mexico put a scare into MSU in the 2nd round, and now Tom Izzo’s squad will really be tested as they take on a very good Ole Miss team. The Rebels do almost everything well, ranking top 25 in efficiency at both ends of the floor. They’re led by a great point guard in Sean Pedulla and have one of the most underrated bigs in the SEC with Malik Dia. Most importantly, they have one of the lowest turnover rates in the country. We know that Michigan State is terrible from 3 so as long as the Rebels gang rebound they’re in great position to win this game. Take Ole Miss with the points.
